The
Significance of the Violet Ribbon
by Matthew J. Terry, Chairman
We who wear Violet
Ribbons are united. Wearing these ribbons not only helps us to remember
those who have suffered, but also to constantly remind us of the
strength that we have as individuals and as a community to put of end
to the suffering of those diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
I feel strongly
about the power of people. We wear the ribbon to join us, bind us, and
to remember those who fought so hard. As a patient myself, I wear my ribbon to remind me
that I refuse to succumb to my disease and that it is important to
keep living.
