VRC hopes to unite the community in support of Hodgkin's patients and their loved ones through the distribution of Violet Ribbons. The Campaign's mission is that through the united bond of the Violet Ribbon they will create communication, increase activism, and help fight for improved quality of life.

As of our establishment in Sept. 2001, Violet Ribbon Campaign supports CureHodgkins.com, an online resource for Hodgkin's Lymphoma patients and the surrounding community. Released on June 8, 2000, CureHodgkins.com has grown into one of the leading Hodgkin's Disease web resources, serving over 1,500 new readers each month from more than 53 nations around the globe. CureHodgkins.com's mission is to provide an internet alternative to scientific clinical sites that ignore the human side of cancer. Stories and columns by survivors hope to spread a message of survivorship, empowering patients to take a positive approach to treatment and living with lymphoma.
